A quaint, spacious beamed cottage down by the little river Brignon in a peaceful village, able to sleep 6 in comfort..

Betz retains its own baker, butcher, general store and bar. It is between Ligueil(10k) and medieval Loches(18k) and some 50k south of Tours.

You can be in any of the famous chateaux and on the rivers within an hour’s drive. The cottage is in rich rolling countryside, accessible to all the amenities for an active holiday, yet relaxing for anyone enjoying a quiet break.

Betz has a children’s playground by a small lake and tennis courts. Pools and more facilities are available in both Ligueil and Loches, as are regular local markets and supermarkets.

There are places to eat out at all price levels, including restaurants with Michelin stars. The range and quality of Loire wines are both attractive and of a high standard.

To the side is an old stone store building, garden and parking area.
To the front is a garage and garden leading down to the stream Barbecue, garden furniture, 2 (old!) cycles, logs and camping gear are available. French friends in the village care for the property and may be around in case of need.

All prices are per week, Sat 5pm to Sat 10am and include gas, electricity, water, duvets, pillows and blankets. Linen and towels available at £3 per person pw Deposit of 20% at reservation, with balance in full 6 weeks in advance. A security deposit of £150 is fully refundable
